*Disclaimer: 1. Apologies for my lack of photo editing in this post. I literally took these pictures straight from my phone just as they were. 2. This is the most random jumble of pictures so another apology for lack of consistency. 3. Okay, going to stop apologizing now (this is literally just my life). Bye. Enjoy! :) <3
How are we already onto the fourth month of the year? March went by way too quickly. Everything about March was pretty chill. I got to go home for a week because of spring break so that was really nice. It rained pretty much the entire time I was in LA (home) so that was kind of a bummer. I so meant to go on all these mini adventures during my week off but the rain basically forced me to stay in bed and binge on Netflix. I was so fine with that.
I did explore DTLA a little bit so that was fun. My friend JT came to visit me and we spent the afternoon at The Last Book Store which was cool. I’ll probably post about it later. Then the next day we ventured to Melrose and shopped around for a bit. There are so many cool stores in that area I need to go back and really spend some time exploring.
Before I knew it, it was my 21st birthday! If you haven’t already click here and here to read my birthday posts! My birthday was so fun and I loved celebrating with some of my closest friends. The day after my birthday, my girlfriends and I went out to brunch at a place called Pacific Hideaway in Huntington Beach.
The restaurant was sort of tucked away in a hotel which was interesting, but worth the initial struggle of finding its location. The place had a really cool mural on one of its walls which of course was great for pictures, and the overall vibe was very relaxed. I definitely recommend Pacific Hideaway for a cute little brunch with friends.
And that’s it! March was a great month of relaxation and celebration! But I’m so ready to get back into a solid routine. I need to amp up my workout schedule and seriously make improvements to my diet. I definitely use the excuse “it’s my birthday month” way too many times when I came to eating complete junk. Ready for a great 21st year being healthy and happy!
Happy Sunday and I hope you have a great week ahead!
