While going out is always a good idea, sometimes being a homebody is exactly what you need. I used to get major FOMO when I would see Snapchats of friends out partying or whatever, but now I so appreciate a quiet night in. There’s nothing better than a hot cup of peppermint tea and a facemask. Or cozying up on the couch with your s/o. Or binging on a throwback show.
With the three day weekend here, I thought I’d share some things you can do for a nice night in. Because doubts, you’re going out tonight, Saturday, and Sunday… but if you are, props, I wish I had that sort of energy.
Continue scrolling to get some tips on how to beat the boredom of staying in.
1. ORDERING ALL THE FOOD
Pick up the phone or go online and order your favorite foods. Literally whatever you’re craving, even if it doesn’t make any sense together. Veg out Gilmore Girls style, and enjoy your living room picnic as you watch your favorite TV show or a movie.
2. TREAT YO' SELF
Give yourself a well deserved facial. Buy some sheet masks from Sephora or paint on a clay mask and light a candle for a night of relaxation. There’s nothing better than a little alone time, especially when it results in glowing skin.
3. FACETIME YOUR LONG DISTANCE WHATEVER
Facetime is the perfect option for when you want to be alone but not completely alone. Call up your BFF or literally whoever and catch up! My best friends and I usually have the longest face time chats once in a blue moon instead of texting on the daily. It’s nice.
Have a safe and fun Labor Day weekend!
