I’ve always been on the search to find my signature scent and I’ve definitely tried my share of perfumes over the years. Last year I fell absolutely in love with Le Labo’s Rose 31 perfume, and now I can’t go a day without sprtizing some on. It has basically become part of my identity to the point that when my roommate was flying all the way to London she texted me saying that the jacket I always borrow from her smelled like me and that it felt comforting. Best compliment to get by the way. But Rose 31 isn’t the only product that has me completely dependent on Le Labo fragrances.
If you know me, you know that my night time skin/beauty routine consists of about a hundred steps. No really, it takes me thirty minutes to get ready for bed. Lord knows I don’t need to add any more steps to my nightly routine however, Le Labo recently sent me a package of hand pomade, lip balm, and camphor balm that I just couldn’t resist.

Putting a lip balm or lip moisturizer on before I sleep is a must for me. There’s no better feeling in the morning than waking up with soft, supple, hydrated lips, and Le Labo’s lip balm does just that. The unscented formula is intensely moisturizing without being greasy or shiny, which I love. After finishing my zillion step skincare routine in the bathroom, I snuggle myself into bed and squeeze the tiniest amount of balm onto the tip of my finger and apply it to my lips. You really don’t need a lot, a little drop of this stuff goes a long way! $14.00
Next, I apply the hand pomade to my palms and rub both hands together. The pomade is rich and creamy, again without being greasy, and smells intoxicatingly amazing. The scent of the pomade is called Hinoki, which releases a warm, earthy, somewhat masculine smell that I find really comforting. The subtle masculine scent makes the pomade especially great for men who are looking for a simple, high quality hand moisturizer. $25.00
I had no clue what camphor balm was until I opened the little bag of goodies Le Labo sent me. It’s the last of the three products I apply when I get into bed, because this balm truly gets me ready for a good night's sleep. Camphor balm is basically a cooling balm that immediately relaxes you and relieves stress in the areas it’s applied to. I like to massage the balm onto my temples, jawline, and that little space in between my collar bones, but you can apply it any area of stress. The scent is strong, and the cooling sensation is pretty intense when the balm is first applied, but after a few minutes it calms down and you just feel completely blissed out. It's kind of like a mini mediation in a jar. This is a product I definitely recommend for anyone who's looking for an immediate de-stresser, and one that I know I’ll be using for a long, long time. $25.00
